A Sun reporter on Thursday showed a photo of one of the nude prisoner scenes to Terrie England, who recognized her daughter, reservist Lynndie R. England, 21, standing in the foreground with her boyfriend.
The alleged abuses of prisoners were "stupid, kid things — pranks," Terrie England said. "And what the (Iraqis) do to our men and women are just? The rules of the Geneva Convention, does that apply to everybody or just us?"

It is the responsibility of the senior officer to maintain order in the establishment under her command. If she is running a brothel she should be cashiered forthwith. As per that article, the main scandal is that they took pictures.
There is ONLY ONE WAY for the USA to prove that this is not common practice : ALLOW A UN ENQUIRY IN ALL IRAQ JAILS !!
Lets the perprepators be judged by Iraqi court where the facts happened. Short of an international survey, we can be sure that this is USUAL PRACTICE.

I am sure they have horror stories to divulge. Check the grounds around the camps and prisons for corpses, check furnaces, garbage cans. These US psychotic excuses for humans should be exposed for all their war crimes, not just the war crimes displayed on the photographs.
Afghanistan should be investigated also. The extent of torture there must be 10 fold what it is in Iraq.
Are the intelligence communities immune to investigation? Go after them Iraqis.

1. Will voting for a democrat or Republican make a difference?
2. Will voting for skull and bones member Bush or skull and bones member Kerry make a difference and end these atrocities?
3. Are these people who commit such evil acts, people who can be reasoned with, or people who are better of killed before they can kill

As they say, we are what we eat, she obviously couldn't keep away from concrete. Looking at the face I am at a loss to understand how she was given a job of responsibility, where the words humane treatment were involved. She looks exactly what she obviously is, hard as nails. I suggest they get to taste the American prison service from the inmates point of view, the system is no doubt as humane as she is. Better still Guantanamo Bay surely has so empty cages.

The people you have in those Military Police Reserve units are ordinary COPS and CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS in YOUR prison system! Anybody who thinks these assholes are "a few bad apples" has NO FUCKING CLUE how the prison systems are run in the United States. Might not be as bad as the prison system in Turkey, or wherever, but it's not like this sort of thing is unusual in US prisons. (Okay, maybe piling bodies up in a pyramid is unusual.)

Or is she just posing in pictures that made it so according to those who think they know it all when they don't. I find it shocking that people are quick to condemn PFC England. It has to be remembered that these iraqis were in jail for making IEDS and for attempting to kill american soldiers.
