LINK for: ‘Lynch mobs, the death penalty, and torture in the US military: a history’, is www.heise.de/tp/r4/artikel/21/21466/1.html (Sorry, lol)
BACKROUND:
I’ve kept track on torture issue all along, and – while no better place available – I’ve dropped the latest newswires under the articles
a) ‘CIA FLIGHTS IN EUROPE - The Hunt for Hercules N8183J’, www.iraqwar.mirror-world.ru/article/71612 (heavily updated)
b) Iraqi govt fails to deliver on torture probe, www.iraqwar.mirror-world.ru/article/71821
COMMENT (On the article ‘With detainees, We're training terrorists’): In my opinion, the original U.S. plan was exactly as stated by the headline, that is the U.S. “rummy” method was to arrest and torture, so that in the next phase these detainees could be be enlisted as a suicide bombers in order to produce a civil war in Iraq (This is WHY Rumsfeld, Cheney et alii have considered the torturing necessary too).
