They are there fighting because all Muslims are brothers and they are there to avenge the deaths of their Iraqi brothers. How difficult is this to believe? Even without OBL they would have gone there.
You want to stop all this? Get the f**k our of other people's countries. You want oil? Drill in your own backyard. If there is none, sleep in the dark and burn your cattles' dungs for cooking and for warmth.

as to the point in the article, the french need not worry, this war will not end until a new saddam is in power. he was the only man who could control these nutters and saddam has a great sense of humour.

France was relatively recently (1940s) an occupied country. And they had a proud resistance movement.
I'm sure some of the descendants of the French resistance would have a contribution to make helping the Iraqi resistance in some way.
Have you forgotten, Mike, that the invasion of Iraq was just as much an unprovoked agression as the invasion of France in 1940? And that the invaders need to be driven out Iraq "for the good of mankind". You know there will be cheering round the world when the USUK finally leave - as there was when the Nazis were driven out of Paris.
You don't have to look at religious reasons for people to oppose aggression - that wasn't the case with Spain in 1936, for instance. I just hope the Iraqis get the freedom back a lot quicker than the Spanish - who had to wait until the 1960s before Franco's iron grip started to relax.

i did not support anyone who fights the occupation in iraq, or anywhere else there is a real occupation.
im just fed up with all this mubo jumbo crap about religion. the only good thing about any religion is the architecture of the churches, which is actually against all bibles as any bible condemns organised religion, god is the sky, the grass, the trees & the air that you breath.
i am sure there are many a good muslim, the majority in fact, i just got fed up with all the propaganda about holy war and trying to persuede people to join up with the muslim or jehovas or mormons.
we should be uniting as mankind, all as one, forget religion and lets just fight against opression & control!
look at the naked rambler, who the hell can tell us we cant walk about naked? why not? if there is a god, did he invent clothes? no he did not. why are we all so ashamed of the naked body? mind you the royal marines are clearly not afraid! LMFAO
but the point is, how can there be a law against nudity in public? and as for the fanatic muslims, the taliban stoning women to death for daring to show a hand in publc. fuck off, who are any authority to dictate what i shall do with MY body. if i want to take coke, it's my decision, who are you to tell me i cant? if i want to smoke, who are you to tell me i cant, if i want to go out naked, who are you to tell me its wrong?
if there was not such a hang up about nakedness there would be no pervert flashers because no one would be shocked by it! we have been conditioned to hate the very & only thing god (if there is one) gave each one of us, our body.
also there would be no porn industry if nakedness were considered the norm, well there we go, perhaps i just answered my question, the porn industry is worth billions, so there we go, all down to money again.

im not writing it all again, but i am entitled to my opinion so i wont shut up.
the bible is fake, there are many contradictions even on the 1st page. it was just written by the catholic church as a means to control the people.
search google and you will find the info.

memeber of the French Foreign Legion. They do no like Brits, or Yanks. Met several on a walk about in the old country during the 'troubles', and all they wanted to do was 'bag a Brit'.
Sounds like young French muslims are carrying on a proud tradition.
