On 22.11.2005 I updated the article ‘Iraq, Iran hold historic talks’ (http://www.iraqwar.mirror-world.ru/article/70895) with a link to a relevant item ‘Iraq confident of Iranian help against insurgency’ (http://www.iranmania.com/News/ArticleView/Default.asp?NewsCode=37963&NewsKind=Current%20Affairs.).
Today, after the appearance of the article ‘Ba'ath refuses talks with government’ (http://www.iraqwar.mirror-world.ru/article/71047) it looks even more like “this is it” and I would like to share my current interpretation of the present situation in the ‘Middle East’.

BAD NEWS: It is catastrophic (forget about ‘would’)

1. As the U.S. has dropped out, there’s no longer reason to support U.S. internal discussion.
2. For the Real factors, the Sunnis, the Shias (Iran), the Kurdis, and the New (updated) Iraqi Govt, cf. the links cited in the Puppet Masters (constantly updated by me until replaced by newer items) and now also the article

Americans were fooled into electing the mentally sick and deficient george Bush and his criminal cabal. The result is that we see an Iraq which was free of religious bigots has now fallen under the control of religous bigots on theone hand the Salfis and on the other the pro-Iranian SCIRI. The puppets know and fear the day when their old masters call it a day and get out or if the other party is elected might get out. what will happenthen to Jaafar, Talbani and Hakim? talbani will run away to the Kurd area to avoid getting lynched. Hakim and Jaafari will run away to Tehran. So they are thinking seriously about getting the help of the Iranians to keep them in power.
What is the result of demented Bush's stupid actions? He could not control the oil and he lost Iraq to the Iranians. It is the greatest strategic defeat for the US in its history.

PUNCH: “WASHINGTON — If the question already is or ever becomes, "Who lost Iraq?" the Answer is (...)”

(The answer to the headline is, of course ‘We are lost’, and just before the question ‘Who lost Iraq’, there’s the bold fact ‘We have lost’. So, they are gathering their courage little by little)
BTW: As the wire was send some 13 hours ago, they are now some 24 hours behind the real events...
