14 U.S military tanks destroyed in Nad Ali district

HELAMD, Feb. 16 - Yet again five military tanks of the US troops were destroyed in separate incidents in Nad Ali district of Helmand, on Monday.
According to the report, three tanks of a huge U.S military convoy of the tanks wjile traveling from Shorab to the center of the district were struck by landmine explosions in Dasht area, while the latter two were targeted by bombings in Lowi Mandah area of this district. The detonations occurred within hours destroying all five tanks with US soldiers dead who were on board.
In fact, 14 tanks of the US troops have been eliminated in separate incidents in different parts of Nad Ali, most of them in Marjah, through Monday.

Mujahideen lay siege to Kandi district in Kunar province

KUNAR, Feb. 15 - There are reports from Kunar province Mujahideen have laid a siege to Kandi district for the past ten days closing off all the escape routes of the soldiers caught in the area who have negotiated the their freedom by letting them safely leave the area, however the Mujahideen have not responded positively yet.
According to the residents, the soldiers are beginning to run out of foodstuff and other necessitates.

More attacks on Kandahar airfield

KANDAHAR, Feb. 15 - Kandahar airfield, considered as one of the greatest base of the U.S troops, came under heavy arms fire on Monday.
According to the report from Kandahar province, two of the missiles landed in the airfield.
